The “Tank” project involves installing two 1,500 m³ mineral water storage tanks on the Volvic site (63). This capacity enables Société des Eaux de Volvic to reduce its annual withdrawals by 5%, minimizing water losses during breakdowns, maintenance, or production changes.
This project addresses major technical challenges over and above the tank construction: ensuring facility reliability and safety, while also optimizing water consumption and industrial performance.
Our teams have designed and implemented a turnkey solution, involving :
- High- and low-voltage electrical systems
- Industrial automation systems
- Stainless steel process piping
- Pumping equipment integration
- Electrical cabinet wiring and pipe prefabrication in our workshops.
Our partnership with Société des Eaux de Volvic covered the entire project lifecycle: requirements definition, study, design, installation, and commissioning of equipment. Thanks to our teams' dedication, the system we put in place regulates the water supply from the boreholes and helps optimize resource management.
This project illustrates our teams' ability to offer comprehensive, integrated solutions for the food industry, optimizing water use and preparing for the reuse of wash water by 2027.
