Eiffage Énergie Systèmes obtains an A rating for its Penly nuclear project

In May 2025, Eiffage Énergie Systèmes won a Level A rating in a Service Assessment Form (FEP) for its work to upgrade electrical equipment at the Penly nuclear site. This recognition highlights quality of execution, compliance with requirements and adherence to deadlines. 

 Eiffage Énergie Systèmes got top marks for its work upgrading electrical equipment at the Penly nuclear site, scoring an A on Service Provider Assessment Form (FEP). This assessment, issued by the client or the nuclear site manager, measures the performance of service providers on various criteria: quality of work, adherence to deadlines, safety and compliance with regulatory requirements. The A rating recognizes the work of teams on a complex project, carried out in a highly restricted environment.

The project involved Eiffage Énergie Systèmes, in coordination with its partner Electrum. Work was sometimes carried out at night and required rigorous planning, and the ability to adapt constantly to unforeseen changes in the schedule.

Key success factors identified include :

  • Effective coordination between the various players
  • Full mobilization of on-site personnel
  • Contribution from Electrum, particularly during night shifts
  • Optimum responsiveness to ensure compliance with deadlines and requirements.

The A grade assessment reflects Eiffage Énergie Systèmes teams' ability to meet the nuclear sector's high standards. It also highlights the importance of coordination, planning and adaptation for the success of this type of project.

The experience gained at Penly helps to enrich internal expertise and consolidate the techniques used to ensure the long-term performance and reliability of nuclear facilities.
