Eiffage Énergie Systèmes is renovating Nantes' Tramway Line 3

Our teams are working on upgrading the electrical installations of Nantes' Tramway Line 3, in the "Neustrie – Les Couëts" area, as part of a comprehensive renovation within an equipment renewal project.

This ambitious project includes several key interventions:

▪ Replacement of feeder links: These essential cables ensure a stable power supply to the overhead contact line (OCL), preventing voltage drops and maintaining tramway power.

▪ Replacement of injection cables: To reinject current at strategic points and maintain optimal voltage throughout the line.

▪ Replacement of Traction Current Return (TCR) links and implementation of a Traction Negative Return Network (TNRN): Enhancing safety measures.

▪ Installation of new protection equipment and creation of a Grounding Network (MALT) at "Les Couëts" station.

▪ Replacement of impacted equipment cables, such as Power-Off Indicators (ICC) and supply cabinets (AL).

This project aims to ensure a reliable power supply, modernize infrastructure, and enhance safety to meet current standards. Our teams are responsible for all studies, execution of works, and delivery of the completed structures.
