Eiffage Rail is renewing the overhead lines and electrical installations on the RER B line.

Since January, our teams have been working on replacing the overhead lines on the RER B line. The regeneration works on the electrical installations are being carried out at night during the week and on weekends between La Plaine Stade de France and Le Bourget stations.

What do the works involve?

Replacement of 255 cantilever arms supporting the overhead contact line
Installation of 26 overhead line sections. Thanks to an innovative method, our teams are currently testing the installation of contact wires without long-term service interruptions
Adjustment of the overhead contact line
