A multimodal interchange hub is a place that facilitates the interconnection between different means of transport such as bicycles, trains, buses, or carpooling.
Several improvements have been made:
* Construction of sidewalks and parking lots using our plant-based asphalt: Bioklair®
* Creation of parking spaces with paving stones
* Vegetation of the space
* Installation of fences for added security
The integration of innovative solutions such as the use of draining materials for rainwater management, light-colored pavement, as well as the planting of new trees and plants helps to effectively combat heat islands.
Congratulations to our teams for this achievement!
Thank you to the Communauté de Communes du Volvestre, TP CARBONNE, ATEI, TCMPT, Pinson Paysage Midi-Pyrénées - Toulouse and CDR Clôtures for their trust!
Creating a multimodal space that promotes the interconnection of different modes of transport while combating heat islands makes a difference!

In Occitanie, the Carbonne train station transformed into a multimodal interchange hub by Eiffage Route
As part of the redevelopment of the station surroundings, our Eiffage Route teams were involved in creating a new space dedicated to new mobilities and their interconnection.
