Our ARM 2500® mobile cold recycling unit in action on the roads of Normandy

In the Orne department (61), our teams brought their expertise to the rehabilitation of the RD19 road by offering an innovative solution to recycle the existing asphalt in situ, using our mobile recycling unit: the ARM 2500®.

The ARM 2500® is a high-performance mobile unit that ensures precise and consistent recycling by separating the "recycling" and "laying" functions through the use of two distinct machines:

  • a cold recycler, which breaks up the existing pavement
  • a conventional paver, which lays the recycled mix.

This specialization of equipment results in highly uniform grain size and excellent surface evenness.

This cold process made it possible to regenerate and strengthen the road base before applying a wearing course.

In-place recycling reduced the need for new materials, material transport, and energy consumption.

This solution led to a 43% reduction in CO2 emissions compared to traditional techniques.

One year after completion, the road surface delivers the same quality of use as a conventional solution, without impacting user experience.
