Terceo carries out electrical work for the SHEMA's future paramedical training institute in Évreux.

On the brownfield site of former Saint-Louis Hospital in Évreux (27), our Terceo experts are involved in building a paramedical care institute (IFSI, IFAS, IFAP) on behalf of the SHEMA (Société hérouvillaise d’économie mixte pour l’aménagement). The foundation stone was laid in September 2023, and the project will be completed by the end of the year.

A 5,000 m² building in the heart of the city is to house the new training institute for state-certified nursing, nursing assistant, and childcare assistant qualifications (IFSI, IFAS, IFAP), which will be able to accommodate up to 660 students. It will include training rooms, a 240-seat lecture auditorium, several rooms dedicated to practical teaching, office space for administrative staff and trainers, as well as areas reserved for student life (documentation centre, common room, etc.).

"On this project, we’re responsible for all high and low voltage electrical work, as well as audiovisual facilities and equipment for the 320-space multi-storey car park. Two of our agencies, the one in Rouen led by Cédric Le Barbier and the one in Dreux under my responsibility, are working together to build cable trays, pull cables, and install all the electrical equipment for the future institute and adjacent car park," explained Business Manager Christophe Souvant.

This high-performance building will meet Energy Level 3 and Carbon Level 1 standards under the E+/C- system. It will feature green roof terraces, and vegetation will also be incorporated into the facades. A solar photovoltaic power plant is currently being installed, with 80 panels to be mounted on one of the green roofs.

Our experts are taking part in this project on behalf of the SHEMA, the company in charge of planning for regional development in Normandy. Supported by Évreux Portes de Normandie and the Eure-Seine Hospital Centre, the facility's construction was co-financed by the Normandy Region, the Eure Department, and the French government.
