In Toulouse, the tunnel boring machine Jeanne-Marvig has begun excavating a 1.5-kilometer section.

On December 11 in Toulouse, the tunnel boring machine Jeanne Marvig “arrived” at Colomiers station after excavating the first 105-meter section between the Shaft and the future station, with the drilling carried out under a pressurized shield to ensure the machine’s waterproofing.

After completing the necessary technical operations for assembling the final components and shifting the machine, the tunneling teams are now continuing their underground journey in normal operating mode.

Wishing Jeanne Marvig a successful excavation of the 1.5-kilometer section between the future Colomiers Gare and Fontaine Lumineuse stations!

Congratulations to all the tunneling teams for the work accomplished!
