Update on the Project Progress - KMS 3 – Lot 2 Drinking Water Transfer Project

Eiffage, has been entrusted with the second work package of the Keur Momar Sarr 3 (KMS 3) drinking water treatment and distribution project in Dakar, Senegal. This work is worth 34 million euros.

The second delivery of SG-PAM pipes arrived in Dakar and was unloaded in 54h non-stop.

These are 568 cast iron pipes (> 6 T each) unloaded and shipped to the site (240 km north of Dakar) via 80 trucks in rotation, + 8 semi boxes (joints, greases, accessories).

As a reminder, Eiffage Génie Civil and Eiffage Sénégal are jointly working on the supply and laying of a DN 1500 mm cast iron pipe for drinking water between PK 0 and PK 38 (38 km) constituting lot 2 of the construction project for a 3rd drinking water treatment plant at Keur Momar Sarr and its downstream reinforcements. Work began in 2018 for a period of 24 months.
