In the Var department Eiffage Génie Civil and Forézienne are currently carrying out work to secure and restore the Naturby River

As part of the Flood Prevention Action Program (PAPI) of the Syndicat Mixte de l'Argens, our teams are working on a large-scale project aimed at reducing the risk of flooding in Draguignan and Trans-en-Provence (83)

Objective? To protect more than 150 homes, nearly 240 businesses, and 24.5 km of road infrastructure from a 30-year flood while contributing to the ecological restoration of the Nartuby River.

A development project with multiple benefits:

  • Ecological restoration of the Nartuby
  • Preservation of local agricultural and economic activities

Key figures:

  • 2 years of work (2024-2026)
  • 120,000 m³ of excavation & 60,000 m³ of backfill
  • 30,000 m³ of rockfill
  • 15 hectares of environmental compensation
