An innovative 2.6 km cycling path in Cherbourg (50), designed by Eiffage Route.

This new cycling path replaces a former railway line.

The Voie du Homet has been transformed, giving way to a brand-new pedestrian and cycling path that connects Cherbourg-en-Cotentin station and the Arsenal.

The path was entirely built using our low-carbon Bioklair® pavement, specifically designed for soft mobility and made from plant-based binder.

To enhance this urban development, LuminoKrom®, our photoluminescent paint, was applied. This ensures user safety by emitting stored daylight at night, without requiring additional electrical energy.

A new parking area was also built near Cherbourg station.

Congratulations to our Eiffage Route and AER teams in Normandy for this great achievement!
