Eiffage Énergie carries out HVAC and electricity work for the French National Assembly

Our thermal technicians are to build a heat-exchanger substation linked up to the CPCU network (Parisian district heating company), which will supply another less powerful heat-exchanger substation. They will then go on to connect up the existing sub-stations.

Parallel to these operations, they will install a Clim Espace substation supplying a new heat-exchanger and several existing substations and will also set up temporary networks enabling the existing installations to function during the various phases of civil engineering and rebuilding work on the National Assembly.

Our teams will follow this with ventilation work in the thermal, electrical and machine rooms, then divert the plumbing networks prior to creating pumping stations to complete the project.

Meanwhile, our electricians will be designing and commissioning low-voltage master distribution panels and distribution boards. They will start by rolling out the cable ducting to ensure the necessary power supply for lighting and the control centre. Next, they will install various fire detection, access control and CCTV systems. Finally, they will take charge of upgrading the parliamentary chamber's audiovisual equipment and ensure that the machine rooms are watertight.

HVAC work began in February 2017 and should be finished by 22 October 2018, while the electrical works which began in early January are scheduled for completion on 31 December 2018.

The project represents 2,278,624 euros of total revenue for Eiffage Énergie including 1,250,000€ of HVAC and 1,028,624€ of electrical works.
