Prevention and Operation: APRR right on the mark again !

On June 21 last in Dijon, Philippe Nourry, CEO of the APRR Group, and Xavier Rigo, DGA, awarded the trophies to the best-performing operational units of APRR & AREA for the prevention of accidents at work and motorway operation throughout the year 2017.

On the occasion of this second edition of the Rendez-vous de l'Exploitation, a dozen APRR and AREA districts and agencies (AREA is the APRR's Lyon-based subsidiary) were honoured at the APRR group's Dijon headquarters.
Philippe Nourry and Xavier Rigo awarded the representatives of these entities the Ribbons for Prevention and Operation, as well as the trophies marking more than 1,000 days of activity without a work-related accident with time off work.
Some teams have accumulated more than 3,000 days without a work-related accident with time off work! And that's not all...

France Centre and Auvergne, the big winners at the 2018 edition
The Gold Ribbon for Prevention was awarded to the France Centre district. This award marks exceptional results in terms of safety in the work performed on a daily basis.
But it was the Auvergne district that won the Gold Ribbon for Operation for its perfect management of a major construction site for the widening of a sector of the A71 motorway granting completely safe access to the Auvergne Volcanoes rest area.
New for 2018: maintenance services for motorway equipment and their technical branches were also rewarded for the first time at this year's event. The Equipment department of the AREA network as a whole therefore won an award in the 1000 Days "without accident" category.
This 2018 edition of the awards ended with a nice group photo of the winners and their trophies, in the presence of the two directors of the APRR group and the management team. A third edition of the meeting of APRR & AREA motorway operators is already being planned for 2019, with other innovations in the pipeline.
