The Lac residence in Bordeaux, built in 1972, comprises 330 dwellings in 8 buildings, served by 20 entrances accessible via a pedestrian slab housing car parks.
The rehabilitation works will include
- The rehabilitation of the R-2 and R-1 car parks, including the consolidation and reinforcement of the upper slab
- The transformation of the garden floors of the 6 blocks, including the creation of halls, common premises and business premises for shops
- Repainting of the facades and metal cladding
- Repair of the common areas
- Repairing the networks
- The creation of 14 ground floor flats
- The construction of 2 external lifts
- The development of outdoor spaces
An additional challenge is that our teams will be working on an occupied site, which means that particular attention will be paid to the safety of the occupants and the quality of use of the building. Good communication with users, particularly tenants, caretakers and associations, is the key to ensuring that the work goes smoothly. To this end, a tenant relations officer will be present on site. Her mission: to establish and maintain dialogue with tenants and to plan appointments for work in the flats. Tenants will also be able to download an app called "avis locataire" (tenant notice) to keep them informed of the progress of the work in the building and to make it easier for them to make appointments.
The project should be completed in 24 months. We wish our teams every success in meeting this impressive challenge!
