The 2016 Carrefour des Jeunes forum attracted nearly 800 young managers from five different countries

The aim of this information forum was to give them a broader perspective of the Group, its organisation, its business lines and its assets, and share with them a collective ambition.

On Tuesday 13th December, nearly 800 young managers from all over France, Belgium, Germany, Poland and Spain attended the 2016 Eiffage Carrefour des Jeunes forum, a key stage in their integration into the company. The aim of this information forum was to give them a broader perspective of the Group, its organisation, its business lines and its assets, and share with them a collective ambition.

It was also an opportunity to present the various divisions and the Group’s financial prospects. A roundtable comprising the heads of the divisions highlighted the diverse and complementary nature of the Group’s business lines.

Presentations were also given on the training opportunities on offer at Eiffage University, the Brittany-Pays de la Loire high speed rail link project (the biggest project ever carried out by the Group), prospective and innovation challenges, and action undertaken by the Eiffage Foundation.

Working group sessions gave participants the chance to express their views on employee share ownership, an integral part of the Eiffage DNA, the Group’s fundamental values and employer brand.

The highlight of the day was a speech given by Benoît de Ruffray, who concluded by summarising the major lines and intersecting themes of the Eiffage 2020 strategy plan, and the Group’s strengths, specificities and ambitions. He went on to participate in a question and answer session on a variety of subjects including his professional career, his role as CEO, Eiffage’s development prospects on the international arena, his vision of the Group and its synergies. He then took the opportunity to encourage participants to interact with each other, which is one of the main objectives of the Carrefour des Jeunes forum.
