Become a MAVIE volunteer

Eiffage's Infrastructure Branch is taking part in the national MAVIE survey on everyday accidents carried out by the Inserm. Rather than lamenting over the 20,000 annual victims of these accidents, why not play an active part in research and raise risk awareness among family and friends?

Of the 11 million injuries caused each year by everyday accidents, 5 million involve the emergency services and 20,000 result in death. They include accidents at school and in the home (house, garden, garage etc.) during sports and leisure activities, on holiday and in public areas (pavements, shops etc.).

The research centre is seeking 100,000 volunteer households to monitor everyday accidents and understand their causes, providing an opportunity for families to take part in a common project. The data collected will enable recommendations to be formulated and innovative safety programmes to be implemented.
