In Côte d'Ivoire, the final adjustments to the Singrobo-Ahouaty dam by Eiffage Civil Engineering

A look back in pictures at the final adjustments to the Singrobo-Ahouaty hydroelectric dam in Côte d'Ivoire, a 1,400-meter-long structure with a reservoir capacity of 110 million m³.

Completed installations:

  • The tailrace and drainage canal
  • The water intakes
  • The spillway, consisting of 3 gates, each 11 meters wide, with a total capacity of 2,745 m³ per second
  • The transformer substation and 90,000 V power line

Ongoing installations: The assembly of the 22 MW horizontal-axis Kaplan turbines is currently underway.

This dam is designed to deliver 44 MW of power to the Ivorian interconnected grid, thereby strengthening Côte d'Ivoire's decarbonized electricity production capacity.
