The system uses autonomous sensors embedded in the ground, and enable motorists to locate vacant parking spaces in real time via digital display screens and a smartphone app.
It also enables real-time identification of overstays for infringement enforcement and encourages compliance with blue zone regulations.
The Expercité smart parking solution thus improves parking turnover and revitalizes city centres. It also results in better traffic conditions with less congestion, and limits CO2 emissions.
