Eiffage Énergie Systèmes installs two photovoltaic shading systems for SEY 78 in Poissy (78)

Our experts have installed two photovoltaic shading units in the Marcel Cerdan sports complex car park in Poissy, Yvelines. 50% of this solar photovoltaic power plant is financed by the Yvelines Energy Syndicate (SEY 78) and the remaining half subsidized by the Paris Region. It has an installed capacity of 250 kWp, and was inaugurated in September.

As well as creating shaded areas in the car park of Poissy's Marcel Cerdan sports complex, the two photovoltaic shading systems installed by our specialists will generate 250,000 kWh per year, equivalent to the annual consumption of around thirty households. In total, the two shading systems installed comprise 588 Dualsun photovoltaic panels (made in France), each rated at 425 Wp. The energy they produce is fed entirely into the EDF grid.

“We provided the system’s electrical connections, working in partnership with Eiffage Génie Civil, who built the shading system foundations, and Eiffage Métal's Momsteel, who installed the metal structures and photovoltaic panels. We connected the panels, pulled the DC cables (or strings), and installed and connected the SMA inverters (made in Germany). We also created a delivery substation for Enedis and a low-voltage main switchboard to connect the AC inverters to the EDF grid,” explained photovoltaic works manager Thomas Ardanuy

The facility, inaugurated in September, is equipped with an information panel showing the amount of energy produced each day and since the shades were commissioned, as well as the amount of CO2 saved.
