Eiffage Immobilier named winner of the Îlot Maritime project by the city of Saint-Nazaire

The City of Saint-Nazaire (44) has selected the consortium led by Eiffage Immobilier, in association with the Atao Group, as the winning bidder for the Ilot Maritime project as part of the Ambition Maritime AMI. Eiffage Immobilier will be responsible for setting up the operation with investors and future users, such as the SNSM. This innovative project, the only one of its kind in France, will contribute to the development of safety at sea and to the development of new maritime economies.

In the heart of an area that occupies an important place in maritime innovation, this 8,000 m² programme, designed with the Topos agency, will host in particular:

The future SNSM campus with a new national training centre;
A shared workspace with a new concept that will accommodate innovative companies in the maritime world (development of MREs, maritime decarbonisation, etc.);
As well as other activities such as the "Skol Ar Mor" training site, a restaurant and the maritime cooperative.

This urban and port project, combining innovation and traditional know-how and benefiting from an exceptional location, will reveal to a wide public the richness of the sea trades. It is also an opportunity for Eiffage Construction, as a local player, to support the city of Saint-Nazaire in its ambitions, as expressed through the "Ambition Maritime" AMI launched in 2021. Eiffage Construction will build the new urban and port complex in 24 months.
