The project is the fruit of French-Senegalese co-operation and aims to tackle the shortage of sports infrastructure by creating a centre of excellence in Africa and more specifically in Senegal, which is full of potential champions.

Eiffage Sénégal supported the deployment of the project, once again confirming our commitment to sports promotion. The company also shares this academy's social and educational values. 

Eiffage Sénégal's Administrative and Financial Director and project sponsor Dame Sène said the company was always available to support initiatives like this one, and underlined the importance of such centres in encouraging sports activities. 

N.B. Senegal will also be in the spotlight at Eiffage's Millau Viaduct semi-marathon (Course Eiffage du Viaduc de Millau) whose 2018 sponsor is boxer and 2016 Olympic bronze medallist Souleymane Cissokho, captain of the "Team Solide".
