The contract includes a complex made of the future 26,000 m2 European Commission conference centre and independent office spaces for just under 18,000 m2 as well as retail areas and approximately 225 underground parking spaces.

The Realex project has been designed for exceptional environmental performance. Targeting BREEAM certification at “Outstanding (Design Stage)” level, it will meet the most demanding standards in terms of sustainability and energy efficiency. It will incorporate features such as heat recovery, dual-flow ventilation, LED lighting as well as planted roof spaces amongst others…

This new project is an opportunity for the Eiffage group to showcase its experience in low-carbon construction and aligns perfectly with the European Union’s CO2 emissions reduction objectives.

Construction work is now under way, managed by teams from the Valens/BPC joint venture company.
